Manager Compliance and Oversight

Requirements

  • A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
  • A postgraduate degree or CA(SA) would be preferred
  • 8 years or more relevant experience with proven management

experience at a senior level

  • Experience in an auditing environment is required
  • Experience in organisational performance management in

local government would be advantageous

Key Performance Areas

  • Managing and leading the oversight and compliance of the

City's scorecards and regulatory performance management

processes

  • Facilitate the process of oversight and compliance to ensure

stakeholder buy-in.

  • Strengthen the City's evidence-based performance to meet

legislative and audit requirements across corporate, legislative,

and municipal entity scorecards.

  • Manage the quality review, verifications and oversight

process of performance management information

  • Managing and coordinate successful liaison between the

City, the Office of the Auditor General and the Internal Audit

Department

  • Financial and contract management
  • Staff management.
