Role Description

This is a contract, full-time role for a Contract Manager with Prize Waterproofing & Painting. The position is located on-site in the City of Cape Town. The Contract Manager will oversee project execution, including planning, coordinating, and supervising waterproofing, roofing, and restoration projects. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with project specifications, preparing and overseeing budgets, scheduling resources, and supervising teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, including resource planning, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Experience with waterproofing, roofing, damp-proofing, decorating, and building restoration projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and coordinate with subcontractors and team members.
  • A proactive approach to identifying risks, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and best practices relevant to construction and restoration projects.
  • Proficient in using project management tools and software.
  • A tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
