Oracle Tek is expanding our technical payroll team We're looking for an experienced, hands-on
Payroll Software Technician
who's passionate about systems, implementation, and client support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll software issues efficiently.
  • Train and support clients on PaySpace, Sage Pastel Partner, and other payroll platforms.
  • Handle
    EMP501 submissions
    and liaise with
    bargaining councils
    .
  • Perform
    Year-End rollovers
    and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in
    software implementations
    and
    migrations
    from legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with our support and finance teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Payroll Certification
    (mandatory).
  • Proven experience with
    PaySpace
    and
    Sage Pastel Partner
    .
  • Experience in
    implementation and training
    .
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-service skills.
  • Knowledge of additional payroll or accounting systems is a strong advantage.

Bonus Skills

  • Multi-system integration or cloud-based payroll exposure.
  • Experience with reconciliation or statutory reporting automation.
