Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Durban for the position of Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, including distribution planning, resource allocation, team supervision, and quality assurance. Responsibilities will include managing logistics, ensuring compliance with safety and efficiency protocols, leading a team of drivers and warehouse staff, and fostering continuous improvement to optimize operational processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics and supply chain management, operations management, and resource planning
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to supervise diverse teams effectively
  • Knowledge of safety standards, quality assurance, and compliance in logistics operations
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and use of logistics management software
  • Ability to work on-site in Durban and adapt to a fast-paced operational environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in a logistics or distribution company is an advantage
