English Teacher

EF Language Abroad is looking for dynamic, interactive, and energetic teachers to join our education team and are recruiting part-time ESL teachers. Please note this position requires in-person teaching at our campus and not remote teaching. We are hiring for General English, Special Interest, and substitute positions. Curriculum, supplemental resources, and both initial and ongoing training are provided. EF provides ongoing professional development to our instructors in the field of English language teaching.

Do you possess the ability to think quickly on your feet and connect with a group of teenage and young adult learners while using state-of-the-art English language teaching materials to facilitate language acquisition?

Have you taught English abroad and miss the involvement with students mastering another language and acting as a representative of American culture?

The Role

Teach classes of 15-17 students of varying English proficiency from all over the world utilizing EF's cutting edge in-house curriculum and methodology to lead interactive and hands-on classes. Add your own "sparkle" to the lesson plans to bring them to life and ensure your students are learning as much as they are having fun. EF provides dedicated face-to-face training as well as online training to ensure that you are prepared for your role. Our Academic Team will support your professional development as well as provide you with guidance throughout your tenure at the school.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any field

Enthusiastic, energetic and a natural leader in the classroom.

Responsible, approachable and friendly.

Highly organized, flexible and global minded.

3 months of experience teaching ESL in a classroom setting with 15+ students(Preferred).

ESL or TEFL certified

Special consideration given to candidates with CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or EFL training

Experience with standardized ESL exams, such as TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge a plus
