Senior Associate, Private Capital Solutions

Your Team Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate within MSCI's Private Capital Solutions Transactions Team, you will lead the delivery of Data Operations' Service Level Agreements and drive continuous data quality improvements. You'll oversee production workflows, set process priorities, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with global peers and key stakeholders while managing and developing Analysts and Associates. You'll coach your team to perform at their best, removing roadblocks, fostering accountability, and empowering them to take ownership and grow.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Acquire in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of dataset policies and procedures
• Develop and execute a team-specific roadmap to increase team effectiveness
• Impact the level of production and the team's ability to meet quality, volume and timeliness of objectives
• Foster effective relationships with other areas and create strategies to enhance teamwork to improve overall efficiency
• Assist workgroup hiring processes
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees
• Coach, grow and develop team members
• Ensure assignment completion according to established priorities
• Communicate performance updates to peers
• Set clear individual goals and motivate team members to exceed expectations

Your Skills And Experience That Will Help You Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investments, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines
• 4+ years' experience in finance, investments, or accounting (preference given for private equity).
• 2+ years' experience in leading a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with databases such as Python or SQL are a plus.
• Training, consulting, or client presentation experience is beneficial
