Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Glass Manufacturing and Contract Management & Logistics Manager based in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. The role involves overseeing daily manufacturing activities, managing logistics and supply chain processes, supervising procurement tasks, handling contract management, and optimizing inventory control to ensure operational efficiency. The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and implementation of strategies that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management to monitor and streamline transportation, storage, and distribution processes
  • Proficiency in Inventory Management, including stock control and optimization methods to maintain appropriate levels of materials and finished goods
  • Expertise in Procurement, including sourcing and purchasing materials while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints
  • Strong Customer Service skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, clients, and vendors
  • Experience in Contract Management to oversee and negotiate agreements with third-party suppliers and vendors
  • Effective leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in the glass manufacturing or industrial sector is a must
