Role Description
The Trainee Planner will support the planning team in analyzing data, forecasting trends, and developing effective merchandise plans. Key responsibilities include data analysis, stock management, identifying sales trends, and assisting in maximizing profitability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Umhlanga, offering an opportunity to build a career in the retail industry while receiving mentorship and professional development.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in data interpretation, trend forecasting, and analytical skills
- Strong skills in planning, organizational management, and attention to detail
- Familiarity with statistical tools, report generation, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in a retail or planning environment is advantageous but not mandatory
