Requirements

  • A relevant three-year tertiary qualification preferable in

Built Environment.

  • Project Management Qualification will be an added advantage.
  • 2 - 5 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Local Government and Supply Chain Management

Policy, Contract Management Framework, MFMA and general

procurement and contract management policies, procedures

and best practices.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Valid code B/EB driver's license.

Key Performance Areas

  • Provide contract administration assistance with regard to the

implementation of the demand plan and progress of tenders

through SCM process for the Branch.

  • Coordination of the Branch's' Demand Planning activities in

order to ensure compliance with corporate SCM Policy and

procedures.

  • Monitoring of the Branch Tenders and ensuring required action

is taken in order to mitigate risk against lack of service delivery.

  • Monitoring financial performance on contracts and identify any

financial or compliance risks.

  • Implementing financial and other systems of control pertinent to

managing of contracts and provision of services.

  • Rendering assistance to the Department's Contract/Project

Managers in drafting of bid documents and ensuring that all

tenders reflect and meet the business needs of the Department.

  • Administrative assistance on bid specification and bid evaluation

meetings ensuring all agreed timelines and contract required by

dates are met.

  • Rendering assistance to the Department's Contract/Project

Managers with supply chain and contract management report

writing requirements.

  • Facilitate the Department's contract management activities

ensuring compliance with corporate Contract Management

Framework and Guide.

  • Ensure proper performance management activities in compliance

with corporate contract management system and Contract
