We're looking for a
Senior Brand Storyteller
to join a
purpose-driven travel and experience company
that creates transformative journeys across Africa.

This isn't just a writing role - it's a chance to craft stories that
move people
. You'll shape how travellers connect with the continent through meaningful, authentic content that celebrates community, conservation, and culture.

You'll be the guardian of the brand voice, mentor other writers, and help bring powerful ideas to life across digital and print channels.

Responsibilities

Brand & Editorial Leadership

  • Maintain a unified, distinctive brand voice across all content.
  • Uphold editorial standards that reflect purpose, integrity, and authenticity.
  • Ensure every piece of content aligns with business and brand goals.

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Write engaging, accurate, and inspiring content for web, email, and campaigns.
  • Adapt tone and format across long-form guides, social media, and marketing materials.
  • Use AI content tools to support efficiency while keeping quality high.
  • Collaborate in developing creative campaign ideas that resonate emotionally and ethically.

Team Mentorship

  • Guide and review work from other writers, giving thoughtful, constructive feedback.
  • Support the growth of the content team by sharing best practices and creative direction.

Workflow & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing, CRM, and social media teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements to streamline content production.
  • Ensure projects move smoothly from concept to publication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Literature, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in content writing, copywriting, or editorial work.
  • Exceptional command of English and strong editing skills.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior writers.
  • Understanding of SEO/GEO principles and AI-driven content tools.
  • Passion for travel, culture, and storytelling with purpose.
