One of our clients, an international inventory management solutions provider, has an opening for a
Business Analyst.

As a Business Analyst in the company, you will be a dynamic contributor to the process and system design, focusing on creating an optimal user experience and streamlined workflows. This role involves documenting a business specification, creating detailed development documents and user stories for IT development in a proprietary system, using mobile interactions, web interfaces, dashboard layouts and database components.

Minimum requirements and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (Degree in Information Sciences and Technology can be BSc, BCom, or B. Eng – Industrial).
  • Working experience as a Business Analyst, with full efficiency in the discipline.
  • Have the ability to capture business needs in a structured and professional manner and relay them into documents that business, IT development, and clients can agree on and use as sign-off documents.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Management:
  • Design and/or review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions.
  • Interview business and define solution as per requirements.
  • Develop and propose final solutions to management.
  • Prepare draft solution costing for sign-off.
  • Manage internal understanding and interpretation of proposed processes or process changes.
  • Project Management:
  • Register internal/external projects.
  • Arrange and run kick-off meetings.
  • Oversee internal project budget signoffs.
  • Manage project execution and training.
  • Review and/or document project documents, including SOP, sign-off documents and manuals.
  • Conduct project handovers to users, internal and external to the business.
  • Perform project post-mortems.
  • Manage and teach juniors.
