SPA GUEST RELATIONS & RESERVATIONIST

MELROSE - Johannesburg, Gauteng - South Africa

STARTING DATE: A.S.A.P  / December 2025

REPORTS to: Spa Manager 

EMPLOYMENT: Full Time

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday 
• Shifts: 08:00 - 17:00 | 09:00 - 18:00 | 10:00 -19:00 | 11:00 - 20:00
• Open / Close Shifts apply (must be flexible and able to work early & late shifts rotate)
• 1x Weekend OFF per month + Days in the week

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R10,000  - R12,000 Basic per month (Based on relevant experience)
• Retail Commission on products sold by you
• Incentives and performance bonuses
• Treatment commission earned on services personally performed by you when operationally required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Spa Receptionist experience in a Hotel Spa / Cruise Ship Spa or Luxury Lodge Spa
2. Qualification: ITEC / CIDESCO / SAAHSP or similar international accredited Diploma in Spa/Beauty
3. Excellent command of English (speak & write)
4. Bookings system confident
5. Computer confident including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
6. Highly presentable and beautifully groomed
7. Reliable transport to Melrose 
8. Able to work hospitality hours including public holidays, weekends and night shifts

EXPERIENCE:

1. Hotel or similar hospitality reception experience is advantageous
2. Reception experience in Spa / Salon or Cruise Ship
3. Spa Therapist employment experience within luxury hotel or Ship Spa
4. Knowledge & understanding of Spa industry & the lingo (describe treatments accordingly)
5. Exceptional guest/patient relations
6. Computer literate & skilled in booking software including Social Media & MS Office
