Safari Game Drive Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team within the Safari department.Oversee daily scheduling of field guides.Control and manage the Safari department's budget.Handle fleet management and drive scheduling, including equipment checks and maintenance.Provide training and guidance to the Safari team to ensure that guests have exceptional experiences.Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall lodge experience.Working in a demanding environment with long hours and extreme conditions.Ensuring high-quality experiences for guests while managing a diverse team.Qualifications and Skills:
FGASA Level 2 certification is essential.FGASA Level 3 and Full or Full Trails Guide qualification preferred.DEATs registration.Advanced rifle handling certification.Valid driver's license with PrDP.Valid First Aid Level 1 certification (minimum).Matric certificate.Criminal clearance certificate required.Solid references that can attest to professionalism and experience.Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities.Service-oriented with high energy and focus.Presentable appearance reflecting the lodge's luxury brand.Team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control.Excellent time management and self-discipline.Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.Commitment to loyalty, adaptability, and flexibility.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of guiding experience at a luxury lodge in a Big 5 reserve.
