Mobile Hydraulic Application Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mobile Hydraulic Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our external customers and driving the achievement of our revenue growth targets. You will collaborate closely with strategic partners and clients to develop hydraulic applications for mobile machinery. This position is based in Johannesburg.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Qualification in BEng, BSc, B Tech Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer, N6 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferable 5 -10 years' experience within engineering and/or customer services environment.
• Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power, Hydraulics and/or Mobile machines.
• Driver's licence.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
• Good communication skills – Verbal and non-verbal.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities defined but not limited to the below.

• Engineering mobile machine hydraulic and control applications.
• Driving technical sales and providing expert product knowledge.
• Collaborating with management to develop and implement business strategies.
• Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
• Onboarding and developing new customers in consultation with the National Project Sales Manager.
• Delivering technical and service support to customers.
• Growing sales within your assigned customer base while upholding ethical standards and policies.
• Managing customer accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assisting the engineering and design office with product development and design initiatives.
• Achieving or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
• Conducting customer visits to promote and sustain the business.
• Preparing accurate sales forecasts and reports.
• Participating in relevant training courses to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
