Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineering Graduate Program role based in our Durban office. The role involves contributing to the development of innovative retail design projects through hands-on engineering tasks. Responsibilities include utilizing computer-aided design tools for creating prototypes, supporting project planning and management, performing technical analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Participants will gain valuable experience in mechanical engineering within the retail design landscape.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles along with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
  • Solid Analytical Skills for problem-solving and data interpretation
  • Strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience or knowledge in Project Management methodologies
  • Ability to adapt to evolving industry demands and work in a dynamic, creative environment
  • Bsc degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Previous exposure to retail experience design or related industries (advantageous)
