Role Description

This is a contract on-site role based in Cape Town for a Maintenance/Driver position at YMCA Athlone. The role involves operating and maintaining vehicle, managing deliveries, pickups, and transportation needs. The Maintenance/Driver will also assist with routine vehicle checks, repairs, general maintenance duties, and ensure a high level of customer service during interactions. This position supports the organization's operations and contributes to the seamless delivery of services within the community.

Qualifications

Valid Driver's Liscence, ID, and Tax reference and Bank Account

Strong communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and basic repairs

Basic knowledge of plumbing, Carpentry, electric work, and gardening skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

Familiarity with Cape Town Athlone routes and efficient navigation
