Job Title: Perishables Merchandiser

Overview:
Our comany is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Perishables Merchandiser to support our grocery and fresh foods departments. The ideal candidate has experience in merchandising, understands perishable product handling, and can maintain high standards of presentation and freshness in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Merchandise and rotate perishable products (produce, dairy, meat, deli, bakery, etc.) according to planograms and company standards.
- Ensure product displays are clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing.
- Monitor expiration dates and product quality, pulling outdated or damaged items as needed.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with store and department managers on promotional setups and seasonal resets.
- Report inventory needs, damages, or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Travel between store locations (if required) to complete merchandising assignments.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of retail or merchandising experience, preferably with perishable goods.
- Knowledge of proper handling and storage of perishable items.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
