The Product Manager will play a key strategic role in driving the development and implementation of their online betting products, contributing directly to the company's growth and market expansion.

Your key job responsibilities as the Product Manager in Johannesburg will include:

  • Define the product vision and prioritize changes based on customer needs and market demands.
  • Continuously research customer requirements and propose enhancements or new features.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring quality and precision at every stage.
  • Collaborate closely with development and testing teams for seamless product delivery.
  • Work alongside Business Analysts to transform the product roadmap into actionable user stories and set clear acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Project Managers to ensure product changes are delivered successfully, while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Effectively communicate progress and updates to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring both technical and non-technical audiences are informed.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the product continually evolves to meet client needs and delivers exceptional value.
  • Maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients, working independently and as part of a wider organizational team.
  • Communicate effectively across all management levels to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Proactively offer recommendations to enhance client service and ensure fair treatment within your scope of responsibility.
  • Build and nurture collaborative relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute positively to organizational change and innovation initiatives.
  • Continuously develop professional skills and industry knowledge to stay up-to-date with trends and regulations.
  • Take ownership of your own career development, seeking growth opportunities and feedback.

Requirements for this Product Manager job in Johannesburg:

  • 2-3 years of experience in product ownership or product management.
  • 1-2 years in a leadership role.
  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field (advantageous).
  • Proven experience in writing detailed product specifications.
  • Strong ability to align and manage multiple stakeholders around delivery scope.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a product roadmap.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and industry practices.
