Business Development Manager

Our client in the packaging and labeling industry is currently looking for a Business Development Manager within the Food & Beverage division. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying key prospects and promoting the company's products to address customer needs across the African continent. The role focuses on building long‑term business partnerships, driving commercial success, and expanding market presence in the food and beverage sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and establish new business relationships.
- Manage and strengthen customer relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to cultivate long‑term partnerships.
- Identify and communicate industry trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners.
- Analyse business opportunities and provide insights.
- Forecast budgets and execute plans to exceed sales expectations.
- Sell the full capabilities of the Food & Beverage portfolio.
- Build and track a sales pipeline via CRM.
- Complete administrative reporting accurately and on time.
