About the Role:

Our company within the retail staffing industry is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a warehouse staffiing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow across all departments, maintaining high productivity standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies, operational targets and administrative deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work shifts as per shift roster allocated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support applicable warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, dispatch, and picking processes as required.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate staff schedules to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and performance standards.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Lead and develop teams, ensuring effective staff management and labour relations.
  • Conduct and assist with disciplinary processes including warnings, hearings, and consultations.
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports to identify improvement areas and support decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and company objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Equivalent qualification.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar management position within a warehouse or retail environment.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Basic HR/IR knowledge, including handling of disciplinary processes.
  • Proven experience in staff planning, task delegation, and production management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Contactable references required.
