Senior Accountant — Build the Financial Blueprint for Success. Some professionals work within the structure. Others help design it — shaping the foundations of accuracy, compliance, and growth. If you're a qualified CA(SA) with 1–2 years post-articles experience, this is your opportunity to help architect the future of a progressive finance function.

This established organisation is looking for a detail-driven and analytical Senior Accountant to bring technical excellence, insight, and structure to their finance team. You'll play a key role in financial reporting, revenue recognition, and ensuring a solid foundation for sustainable performance.
 
Your Role in the Blueprint:
As the Senior Accountant, you'll take ownership of technical accounting processes, compliance, and reporting accuracy while supporting continuous improvement.
 
You'll:
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts and reconciliations.
  • Implement and maintain IFRS 15 – Revenue Recognition principles.
  • Support and lead during annual audits to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Review financial data and ensure integrity across ledgers and reports.
  • Drive efficiency by introducing automation and smarter working methods.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Your Professional Foundation:
  • CA(SA) qualification (essential).
  • 1–2 years post-articles experience in a corporate or group setting.
  • Proven technical understanding of IFRS 15 – Revenue Recognition.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven approach to challenges.
