Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Life Science/Histology Sales Representative, based in Roodepoort, with majority of the job being remote. The role involves promoting and selling life science and histology products through Tenders/RFQs and key accounts. this includes engaging with clients to understand their needs, and offering tailored solutions. Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, conducting market research, preparing sales reports, and providing technical support and product education to customers. Interaction with clients, both remotely and in-person, is a significant component of the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science, with knowledge or experience in life sciences or histology.
  • Analytical Skills to assess customer needs, interpret data, and identify sales opportunities.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including client engagement, presentation, and follow-ups.
  • Experience in Education and an ability to provide training or demonstrations on product usage.
  • Research skills for identifying market trends and staying informed about product advancements.
  • Prior experience in sales or a commercial life sciences role is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working in a hybrid setup.
  • A Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field is preferred.
