We currently have several permanent roles available at our offices in Johannesburg (Sandton) and Durban (Umhlanga), working for incredible international companies.

We are on the hunt for a Data Analyst to join our client's team.

What you will be doing:

The role involves underwriting, analysing financial data and creating organised file folders for each property. Proficiency in Excel for baseline data analysis and utilising a template underwriting model is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily underwriting of new opportunities to assess potential investments. - Perform detailed underwriting analysis and maintain organised file folders for financial documentation. - Utilise template underwriting models to input property data effectively and accurately. - Analyse baseline data using Excel, focusing on cleanup and framing for clear reporting.

Requirements

Critical Skills

  • Proficient in financial analysis and underwriting to assess new opportunities effectively and accurately.

  • Strong organisational skills to create and manage file folders and documentation seamlessly.

  • Attention to detail for cleaning and framing data to ensure accuracy and clarity in reports.

  • Excellent analytical abilities to perform baseline data analysis and interpret financial information.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage daily tasks related to underwriting and reporting.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Excel for baseline data analysis, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.

  • Experience with financial modeling software to open and manipulate underwriting template models.

  • Familiarity with document management systems for creating and organising file folders and reports.

  • Ability to perform underwriting analysis, requiring knowledge of financial metrics and property evaluation tools.

  • Strong skills in data entry and cleanup to ensure accuracy in property financial documentation.
