The Finance and Sales Clerk will be responsible for a combination of Sales Administration and Finance Administration duties, along with general support tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sales Administration

  • Receive, process, and manage sales orders from customers accurately and efficiently.

  • Ensure sales orders are correctly captured and invoiced in the accounting system.

  • Liaise with customers and internal teams regarding order status, delivery, and invoicing.

  • Maintain and update customer records and sales data.

Finance Administration

  • Handle accounts receivable (debtors): issue invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate debtor records.

  • Manage accounts payable (creditors): process supplier invoices, verify supporting documentation, and prepare payment runs.

  • Perform bank reconciliations, posting journal entries, and assist with month-end closing.

  • Support general ledger maintenance and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.

General Support

  • Maintain organized records of financial and sales documents.

  • Provide administrative support to the finance and sales teams as required.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • A relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in a similar sales and/or finance administrative role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
