Minimum Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold a Degree or Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Bring at least 5 years' experience in communications, ideally within an educational or similarly complex environment.
  • Are a persuasive and adaptable writer with strong editing and copywriting experience.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment and manage multiple projects with calm efficiency.
  • Have a strong command of digital communication tools, content management systems, social media platforms, and visual storytelling.
  • Combine creativity with strategic thinking — and aren't afraid to bring bold, well-considered ideas to the table.
  • Work easily and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, honouring diverse perspectives while upholding high standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Included but not limited to:

  • Lead the school-wide communications strategy, ensuring a cohesive and distinctive brand voice.
  • Manage, create, and curate high-quality content for publications, newsletters, video scripts, the website, and all digital platforms.
  • Drive our social media presence with engaging, timely, and relevant content that builds community and enhances visibility.
  • Oversee editing, proofreading, and quality control to maintain accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Conceptualise, develop, and deliver integrated marketing and communication campaigns that support the School's strategic priorities.
  • Provide communication support for school events, Advancement initiatives, and stakeholder engagement projects.
  • Collaborate with the Advancement team and cross-functional departments to ensure message alignment and exceptional project delivery.
  • Manage timelines, processes, and workflow within the Advancement Office to ensure smooth execution of projects.
