Natural Sciences Teacher
to join its intermediate phase team. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, foster scientific thinking, and create an engaging learning environment for learners in Grades 7 to 9.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Natural Sciences lessons aligned with the CAPS curriculum.
  • Foster a love for science through practical experiments, inquiry-based learning, and interactive teaching methods.
  • Assess and monitor learner progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education (BEd) or relevant Science qualification with PGCE.
  • SACE registration.
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience in Natural Sciences at intermediate phase level.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for education and commitment to learner development.

Advantageous

  • Experience in independent or private schooling environments.
  • Familiarity with digital teaching tools and blended learning approaches.
  • Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
