The Digital Campaign Team Supervisor leads by cultivating client relationships, mentoring team members, and overseeing operations within the Digital Campaign Management team. Their main responsibility is to inspire, support, and enable their team to reach shared goals and attain success, fostering a positive work environment for individual and collective achievements. They ensure seamless campaign execution, analyse performance, and meet client expectations. Collaborating with Amplify 360 Operations Manager and Digital Campaign Managers, they drive marketing strategies, foster interdepartmental collaboration, oversee production, and boost sales. This role is a full time role and offers hybrid work flexibility, with the expectation of attending in-office meetings in Westville once a week. It is a requirement to have access to a stable internet connection and your own laptop to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
Core Responsibilities:Team Leadership:
Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising creatives, copywriters, designers, and digital marketers to ensure the efficient execution of campaign deliverables.
- Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and accountability, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Track team performance, provide timely feedback, coaching, and address any performance concerns.
- Identify training needs and coordinate skill development initiatives to enhance team capability. Oversee training documentation and sign-off of all training sessions, ensuring records are submitted to the People Team.
- Monitor and manage team workloads to ensure balance and productivity.
- Document, complete and maintain process flows.
- Evaluate team capacity and workload demands to maintain operational efficiency prior to approving leave requests.
- Promote open and transparent communication, encouraging collaboration and mutual support.
Foster innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
Client and Campaign Management:
Efficiently handle client campaign requests through iX's internal platform.
- Provide strategic direction to ensure campaigns align with client objectives and brand goals.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign production, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and turnaround times are met.
- Manage daily traffic and workflow to ensure consistent campaign progress.
- Deliver timely and relevant feedback to clients based on their requests and expectations.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct regular online meetings and occasional in-person sessions with clients to maintain alignment and engagement.
- Host client visits at the iX office to provide personalized support and strengthen relationships.
- Identify opportunities to upsell marketing products and services to existing clients.
Stay informed of marketing and industry trends to guide strategic decisions and improvements.
Processes & System Enhancements
Maintain and update all departmental processes so they align with day‑to‑day operations.
- Lead and oversee training sessions whenever process changes or new processes are implemented.
- Ensure system updates or new features undergo thorough testing by the Digital Campaign Manager Supervisor and team before being handed over to the Operations Manager.
- Support and follow up on development enhancements, tracking progress and ensuring smooth implementation.
- Assist with handover responsibilities delegated by the Operations Manager during their absence.
- Grade 12 / School Leaving Certificate (Matric) is a minimum requirement
- Degree/Diploma in Marketing or certification in a related field is required
- Minimum of 5 years' proven experience leading high-performing teams
- Previous experience in marketing, advertising, or campaign management
- Strong understanding of industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis
- Proficiency across key digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, PPC, and SEO
- Ability to interpret campaign data and derive actionable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong project management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing budgets
- Proven leadership skills to motivate, guide, and develop teams
