A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children

Area: Steyn City

Children's Ages: 8 month old & 13 year old (Primary focus on the baby)

Working hours: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 18:00

School holiday hours: Same as above

Live In or Live Out – both options available.If Live In – Own bedroom and bathroom.Meals included.

Duties: General care and supervision, educational stimulation and play, facilitate fun activities and games, prepare light snacks and meals, put down for naps, change nappies,assist with bath time and bed time routine.Collect eldest from school, assist and oversee homework, take to any extra murals.Ad hoc babysitting with prior notice and paid additionally.Travel with the family both locally and internationally.

Special Requirements: Someone older and mature, Fluent in English. ECD qualification is required. Someone who is looking for a long-term commitment and to become part of the family.

Start Date and contract term: January 2026 – permanent (family will consider an earlier start date for the right candidate)

Salary: R20 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

****Must have a clear criminal record

****Must have a passion for children

****Must have Matric

****Must have a South African ID document.
