Context

Our client is assisting a leading consumer and business services organisation that is embarking on a digital transformation journey to modernise its business. The project aims to define a clear, strategic and economic view of its digital priorities, aligned to its overall corporate strategy. The focus is on determining
what to prioritise and when
, identifying
capability and technology gaps
, and outlining
expected outcomes
at a high level.

Role Overview

The Senior Consultant will play a key role in shaping and supporting the delivery of the client's Digital Blueprint. This includes developing structured templates and frameworks, mapping digital initiatives, facilitating client working sessions, and helping to define high-level value cases. The role will also require strong analytical and communication skills to develop high-quality presentation materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine Digital Blueprint templates and frameworks
  • Map digital initiatives across business areas and identify interdependencies
  • Facilitate and support client sessions to characterise initiatives and value potential
  • Lead high-level value case development and synthesis of insights
  • Build clear, compelling presentation materials and ensure quality assurance of deliverables
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and internal team members

Requirements

  • ~5+ years' consulting experience in
    Technology, Operations, or Business Strategy
  • Demonstrated experience in digital strategy, transformation, or business modernisation projects
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint and structured communication capabilities
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into executive-ready materials
  • Prior exposure to digital or technology topics advantageous (though not a technical role)

Contract Details

    Fixed monthly rate for the project duration
  • Timing:
    Immediate start, 12-week duration
  • Location:
    Gauteng-based (hybrid); mostly work from home, with
    2–3 in-person client work sessions per week
