Role Description

This is a part-time (13:00-17:00) on-site role for a Drama Teacher located in Pretoria, Elarduspark. The Drama Teacher will be responsible for teaching acting and drama classes, developing and implementing curriculum, guiding students in performing arts, and fostering a creative and supportive learning environment. The role involves conducting classes, preparing lesson plans, assessing students' progress, and organizing performances or showcases.

Qualifications

  • Drama and Performing Arts skills
  • Experience in Teaching and Teaching Acting
  • Ability to develop and implement Curriculum Development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative and innovative approach to teaching
  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Performing Arts, Education, or related field
  • Experience in working with diverse age groups and skill levels is a plus
  • Passion for drama and performing arts, and ability to inspire students
  • First language - Afrikaans
