Pets4Life Academy is a dog training and kennel facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and training for our clients' dogs. We pride ourselves on professionalism, attention to detail, and creating a welcoming environment for both dogs and their owners.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and organized Booking Administrator who will also assist as a Kennel Hand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing bookings, greeting clients, handling dogs, and ensuring our operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage bookings for one-on-one training sessions and dog stays in the academy.
* Confirm all client appointments in advance and maintain accurate records of bookings.
* Record all incoming dogs' details accurately on the whiteboard and system.
* Greet clients and their dogs at the start and end of sessions professionally.
* Assist with handling dogs, including feeding, walking, and general care as needed.
* Handle client concerns and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
* Support daily kennel operations to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in administration, customer service, or kennel/animal care is preferred.
* Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
* Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Friendly, professional, and client-focused attitude.
* Ability to take initiative and work independently while following procedures.
* Good communication skills (English & Afrikaans).
