Responsibilities for the Orthopaedic Trauma
Intern

  • Support orthopaedic procedures in trauma and emergency settings.
  • Assist surgeons and clinical teams in operating rooms.
  • Provide product knowledge and theatre support.
  • Build professional relationships with hospitals and medical teams.
  • Learn fundamentals of medical sales and product representation
  • Work flexible hours, including weekend and after‑hours on‑call duties.

Role Overview
–
Accounting Intern

  • Prepare customer quotations, invoices and statements using supporting information.
  • Maintain meticulous records of purchase receipts, supplier remittances and inventory.
  • Prepare and submit payment requisitions for review and approval.
  • Assist with price file admin and product registration with hospital groups and healthcare funders.
  • Prepare journal entries for review and approval on Xero.
  • Provide document support to auditors based on requests received.
  • Prepare calculations and analyses to support management decisions using financial information and data.
  • Assist with administrative tasks within the finance function.

Interns will collaborate closely with teams to contribute to projects and ideas that promote the company's mission.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma;
  • Biomedical Technology and Accounting/Finance graduates preferred.
  • Confidence to work in emergency and theatre environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational ability coupled with writing and verbal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Sales interest or experience (advantageous)
  • Computer literacy
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle (For orthopaedic Trauma internship)
