As the Chief of Staff, you will serve as the right hand to the CEO and act as a key strategic and operational bridge between executive leadership and the broader team. You'll ensure seamless execution of high-priority projects, streamline internal operations, and facilitate cross-functional alignment between the CEO, COO, and other departments.

This is a mission-critical leadership role for someone who thrives in complexity, moves with urgency, and is deeply committed to youth development and transformation in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment & Execution


• Drive execution of strategic initiatives across the organisation, ensuring alignment with CEO's vision and business goals.


• Lead and manage cross-functional projects, including client rollouts, new programme development, and internal change management.

CEO & COO Support


• Act as the communication and operations liaison between CEO and COO.


• Prepare briefing materials, decision support documents, and action plans for both leaders.

Operational Efficiency


• Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements to optimise internal systems.


• Support performance tracking and reporting for key initiatives and learnership programmes.

Leadership Coordination


• Organise and lead executive team meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-through.


• Manage internal strategic communications to promote alignment and accountability.

Special Projects


• Take ownership of ad-hoc, high-impact projects such as youth employment pilots, digital platform launches, and B-BBEE strategy implementations.

Experience & Qualifications


• 5+ years experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, or a similar leadership role.


• Experience working with or in skills development, education, youth development, or B-BBEE strategy is a strong advantage.


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Education, or related field; Honours or MBA preferred.
