We are seeking a qualified and experienced Forklift & Hyster Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of forklift trucks and Hyster equipment, including electric, diesel, and hydraulic systems. This role is critical to ensuring all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and servicing of forklifts, Hyster equipment, and related material handling machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and carry out repairs accordingly.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and safety checks.
  • Repair and maintain diesel and electric-powered forklifts.
  • Overhaul engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems when required.
  • Read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and equipment history.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
