Telemarketer – Catering Industry

About the Role

A well-established catering business in the Western Cape is looking for a motivated and results-driven Telemarketer to join their team. This is a remote position, ideal for someone who thrives on communication, enjoys connecting with people, and has a passion for sales and relationship-building.

The successful candidate will play a key role in generating leads, setting up meetings, and managing client calls to help grow the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential and existing clients to promote catering services.
  • Identify sales opportunities and book appointments for follow-up meetings.
  • Manage inbound inquiries and provide product or service information.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date client database.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers to generate repeat business.
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Provide regular feedback on call outcomes and client interactions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Telemarketer, Sales Representative, or Call Centre Agent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Confident, persuasive, and goal-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or CRM software.
  • Stable internet connection and reliable workspace setup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in hospitality, catering, or event services (advantageous).
  • Experience in B2B sales or lead generation.
