A major manufacturer of electrical automotive components, has an opening for a
Regional Manager – Gauteng North.
This role includes managing and overseeing the Business Unit to ensure profitability in growth and revenue through planning, execution, support and leadership of the team.

Main area: Gauteng North, Limpopo, Mpumalanga

Minimum requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing Management or related fields (NQF 7).
  • 6-8 years' experience in sales and marketing within the manufacturing environment or automotive aftermarket.
  • 3+ years should be at Supervisory level.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office Suite; SAP, ERP Systems, Salesforce) and job-specific software systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant sales and marketing processes and practices.
  • Languages: English and Afrikaans.

Main duties:

  • Manages and monitors the sales activities of Business Representatives in the region.
  • Manages the regional Xpress and channel partner relationships and ensures performance is aligned to the set criteria as contained in the agreement.
  • Identifies new business opportunities by identifying potential dealers and distributors and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Contributes to the budget preparation process.
  • Monitors expenditure against budget and ensures spending occurs within budgetary limits and company financial guidelines, report deviations to direct manager.
