Senior E-commerce Growth Operations Assistant

Role snapshot We're hiring a senior, hands-on operator to be the right hand to our Chief Growth Strategist. This is a tactical execution role (not strategic): you'll take clear instructions, move fast, and execute flawlessly across Shopify, ad accounts, landing pages, and email tools. The environment is highly structured with detailed SOPs, strict sequencing, and tight deadlines—perfect for someone who is hyper-organized, proactive, and technically competent.
What you'll do ● Shopify administration ○ Create/maintain products, variants, collections, pricing, tags, and metafields. ○ Configure shipping, taxes, payments, locales; install/configure apps as directed. ○ Implement/verify tracking (Meta Pixel/Conversions API, GA4 via GTM).
● Ad account & tracking setup (tactical) ○ Set up and verify Meta Business Manager properties; add pages, pixels, catalogs, and users. ○ Complete business verification, 2FA/phone verification, domain verification, and aggregated events. Create/organize ad accounts, naming conventions, and asset permissions per SOP.
● Landing pages ○ Duplicate and prepare landing pages in our builder(s); implement pixels/tags; ensure page speed and device responsiveness. ○ Insert approved copy/assets, QA links and forms, and publish following our release checklist.
● Email & CRM ○ Set up lists/segments, import contacts, connect forms, and configure basic automations in tools like Klaviyo (or similar). ○ Ensure domain authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and tracking are configured as instructed.
● Quality assurance & documentation ○Run through structured QA checklists; identify issues early and propose fixes. ○ Keep SOPs, task logs, and change histories up to date; maintain pristine project documentation.
● General growth ops support ○ Execute task sequences exactly as specified; anticipate next steps and remove blockers. ○ Communicate progress, risks, and completion in a concise, proactive manner.
Must-have qualifications ● Proven seniority in tactical e-commerce ops (ideally 3–5+ years) with demonstrable output in: ○ Shopify admin and app ecosystem. ○ Meta Business Manager setup (verification, pixels/CAPI, events, permissions). ○ Landing-page builders (e.g., Leadpages/Unbounce/Webflow/Instapage) and tracking implementation. ○ Email platforms (e.g., Klaviyo/Mailchimp/Omnisend) including authentication basics. ● Strong grasp of pixels, GA4, GTM, domain & DNS verification, and common growth tooling. ● Extreme organization: lives by checklists, SOPs, and version control; near-zero error rate. ● Communication & proactivity: crisp updates, fast clarification when needed, closes loops. ● Thrives in a high-structure, high-detail environment; follows instructions precisely. ● Workstation readiness: reliable internet and multi-window workflow. (Role is optimized for 3 monitors; if not yet available, you must still operate efficiently—company can assist with upgrades after an initial period.)
Nice to have ● TikTok Ads / Google Ads setup. ● Zapier/Make automations; basic HTML/CSS for landing-page tweaks. ● Canva/Figma for asset swaps and light editing. ● Advanced Google Sheets (lookups, pivots) for simple reporting.
Success metrics (first 60–90 days) ● On-time task completion ≥ 95% with QA pass ≥ 99% (no tracking gaps or broken flows). ● All assets/accounts properly verified and documented; SOP adherence = 100%. ● Clear, proactive comms: daily progress notes; instant escalation on blockers. ● Pages live without defects (links/forms/pixels responsive across devices and browsers).
