Zietsman Architects, based in Durban North, is currently seeking a motivated Candidate Architectural Technologist to join their professional team.

Job Description:


•Assist in the development of architectural designs and concepts under the guidance of a Professional Architect

•Prepare and revise architectural drawings, specifications and documentation using Software and BIM tools

•Contribute to design presentations and visualizations for clients, consultants and stakeholders

•Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure design and documentation align

•Ensure Compliance with building regulations, zoning requirements and SACAP standards

•Maintain a SACAP logbook documenting all practical experience and training hours

•Participate in site visits and inspections as required

•Attend design meetings and workshops to learn project and office management practices

Skills:


•Strong design and conceptual thinking

•Excellent communication and teamwork skills

•Attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation


•Ability to work on Revit, Lumion, ArchiCad, AutoCAD

•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

•willingness to learn and adapt to different project types and scales
