The Role: You will be responsible for delivering high -quality bookkeeping, VATand accounts preparation services to our clients. The role involvesworking primarily with cloud -based accounting systems, withoccasional paper -based records (lower than 10%). Experience with tax returns isdesirable, though not essential. Key Responsibilities:·  Carry out bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients, usingcloud -based software (e.g. Xero and Dext)·  Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with Making Tax Digital(MTD) regulations·  Prepare year -end accounts for sole traders, partnerships andlimited companies   RequirementsDesirable Skills & Experience:·  Solid experience in an accountancy practice environment·  Proficiency in cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero)·  Strong understanding of VAT, bookkeeping principlesand accounts preparation·  Experience with tax returns is advantageous but not essential·  Excellent attention to detail and time management skills·  Strong communication skills and a client -focused approach BenefitsWhat We Offer:·  A supportive and collaborative working culture·  Opportunities for professional growth and qualification support·  Flexible working arrangements where suitable·  Involvement in a wide variety of client work and industries
