Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer

This role plays a key part in strengthening the company's governance and compliance foundations. You will design policies, guide regulatory adherence across jurisdictions, manage risk assessments, coordinate audits, and sustain a strong, engaged compliance culture. The organisation is a global financial services entity.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and update governance and compliance policies
  • Conduct risk and compliance reviews, tracking corrective actions
  • Support AML/KYC/AEOI processes and onboarding controls
  • Prepare governance and risk reports for senior leadership and the Board
  • Deliver training and stakeholder engagement across the organisation
  • Monitor regulatory change and recommend best-practice enhancements
  • Utilise monitoring systems and controls to maintain compliance standards

What You'll Bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 7–10 years in governance, compliance, or operational leadership
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and industry frameworks
  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with comfort in wearing multiple hats
  • Clear, confident communication and strong stakeholder influence
  • Excellent organisation and ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams)
