Woodworker

Job Description

The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in woodworking and joinery, with the ability to interpret drawings, assemble detailed components, and produce high-quality finishes. You will be responsible for building custom POS units, furniture pieces, and other branded structures according to production specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and assemble items accurately to specification
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, and related materials
• Build and finish retail display units, gondolas, stands, and other custom components
• Operate woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively
• Conduct quality checks to ensure precision and strong finishes
• Collaborate with designers and production managers to achieve project goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment
• Assist with installations when required

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in joinery, carpentry, or woodworking
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and finishing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
• Experience working with MDF, veneer, laminates, and solid wood
• Skilled with woodworking tools, CNC routers (advantage), and panel saws
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime when required
