Role Description

This is a part-time Locum Dietitian role based in Bloemfontein. The Locum Dietitian will be responsible for providing nutritional counseling and medical nutrition therapy to patients. Key duties involve creating personalized nutrition plans, offering weight management guidance, and educating individuals on proper dietary habits. This role requires collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support patient well-being and ensure consistent care delivery.

Qualifications

• BSc. in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registered with the HPCSA as Independant Practice (i.e. post Community Service).
• Fully CPD compliant.
• Experience in critical care/ICU care is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Cultural competency within the context of the various South African cultures.
• Excellent experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy with a focus on Critical care, Weight Management, Metabolic diseases, Liver diseases and Kidney diseases.
• Own transport.
