Our client, a leader in the iGaming industry, is seeking a visionary Head of Technology to take charge of their technology strategy and execution. The Opportunity

  • Strategic leadership: Define and execute the clients technical vision, aligning technology with commercial goals.
  • Innovation at scale: Architect next-generation solutions that support expansion into new markets and drive operational excellence.
  • Team empowerment: Lead and mentor developers across front-end, back-end, DevOps, and BI, building a culture of collaboration and performance.
  • End-to-end ownership: Manage the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment, while ensuring quality, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clear technical direction, architecture, and governance across all development initiatives.
  • Inspire, coach, and grow technical teams, fostering both technical and soft skills.
  • Champion best practices in coding, testing, and automation.
  • Collaborate with EXCO, product owners, project managers, BI, and UX teams to align solutions with business needs.
  • Oversee infrastructure strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure-based deployments.
  • Translate regulatory and operational requirements into robust technical solutions.
Requirements

Ideal Profile

  • 10+ years experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise within the iGaming sector (B2B and/or B2C software solutions).
  • Strong hands-on background in C#/.NET, .NET Core/6, WebAPI, SQL, and Umbraco (or other CMS).
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure cloud services, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
  • Experienced in Business Intelligence strategy, data pipelines, dashboards, and governance.
  • Skilled in CI/CD pipelines and automation with tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
