Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Junior Civil Engineer based in Techno Park, Stellenbosch, with the flexibility to work from home in a hybrid work policy. The suitable candidate should preferable already live within 40km of the office. The Junior Civil Engineer will assist in the development of water, sewer, and stormwater master plans. Day-to-day activities include working closely with the senior engineering team in data collection, analysis and planning to ensure sustainable infrastructure solutions, utilising GLS's own software.

Qualifications

  • Minimum B Tech in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in GLS Software is an advantage.
  • Strong interest in municipal infrastructure planning
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Experience

  • Recent graduate or entry-level candidate accepted.
  • No prior work experience required, but any internship or project exposure in civil engineering will be advantageous.
