Are you passionate about technology, risk, and ensuring that systems run securely and efficiently? A fast-paced, tech-driven organisation is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join their Internal Audit team.

In this role, you'll plan, execute, and report on IT audits across a diverse group of entities, ensuring that IT risks are identified, controls are robust, and information assets are safeguarded. You'll play a key role in enhancing IT governance, cybersecurity, and data integrity across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and perform risk-based IT audits on infrastructure, applications, and data processes
  • Assess IT general controls, cybersecurity, and vendor risk management practices
  • Evaluate system access, change management, and disaster recovery controls
  • Prepare insightful audit reports and present recommendations to senior management
  • Monitor action plans and follow-up on remediation progress
  • Stay current with emerging IT trends, frameworks, and threats

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 4 (minimum) – 8 (ideal) years' experience in IT auditing
  • CISA certification required
  • Solid understanding of IT frameworks (COBIT, NIST, and ISO)
  • Strong grasp of ITGCs, cybersecurity, networks, databases, and cloud environments
  • Experience with audit tools (TeamMate+, Galvanize, and IDEA) and data analytics beneficial
  • AI audit experience advantageous/strong passion and interest in AI
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
  • Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex IT concepts
  • Strong stakeholder manager with high integrity and professional scepticism
  • Independent yet collaborative, with solid time management and multitasking skills
