A reputable manufacturing organisation, based in Somerset West, is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full financial accounting function, including IFRS reporting, budgeting, and SAP S/4HANA processing. This role is ideal for a technically strong and driven individual looking to contribute to a fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis processes.
  • Ensure strict compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls.
  • Manage general ledger functions, reconciliations, and the month-end close.
  • Support operational teams with financial insights and variance analysis.
  • Utilise SAP S/4HANA for daily accounting functions and system reporting.
  • Assist with audits, statutory reporting, and year-end processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • BCom Accounting & completed articles required.
  • CIMA Strategic Level advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years post-articles experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting processes, and financial reporting.
  • Experience in the Manufacturing industry beneficial.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA essential.
