Qualified Petrol Mechanic

Location: Gezina, Pretoria
Salary: R R depending on experience) + Commission(R8000-R12 000 extra)
Available Positions: 1
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07h30 – 17h00 (One Saturday per month – paid as overtime)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, services, and inspections on vehicles from various manufacturers.

  • Work on a variety of models – not limited to a single brand.

  • Complete service tasks according to manufacturer standards.

  • Maintain neat work records and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.

  • Adhere to all safety and quality control standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Red Seal Qualification: Petrol Mechanic. (Diesel qualification only is not suitable)

  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.

  • 3–5 years of practical work experience in a similar workshop environment.

  • Must be capable of conducting diagnostics, repairs, services, and inspections on a variety of vehicle manufacturers.

  • Experience working with different vehicle brands is essential.

  • Must be able to speak Afrikaans.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and own reliable transport.

  • Strong communication skills, self-driven, and dependable.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:

  • Diagnose, herstelwerk, dienswerk en inspeksies op voertuie van verskillende vervaardigers.

  • Werk aan verskeie modelle – nie beperk tot een handelsmerk nie.

  • Voltooi dienswerk volgens vervaardigerstandaarde.

  • Hou netjiese werksrekords en kommunikeer duidelik met kliënte en kollegas.

  • Volg alle veiligheids- en kwaliteitstandaarde.

Posvereistes:

  • Rooi Seël-kwalifikasie: Petrolwerktuigkundige (Dieselkwalifikasie alleen is nie geskik nie)

  • Minimum 3 jaar post-kwalifikasie ervaring. 

  • 3–5 jaar praktiese werkservaring in 'n soortgelyke werksomgewing.

  • Moet in staat wees om diagnoses, herstelwerk, diens en inspeksies te doen op verskeie voertuigvervaardigers.

  • Ervaring met verskillende voertuigvervaardigers is 'n vereiste.

  • Moet Afrikaans kan praat.

  • Geldige bestuurslisensie en betroubare eie vervoer is verpligtend.

  • Goeie kommunikasievaardighede, selfgedrewe en betroubaar.

  • Vermoë om onder druk te werk en prioriteite te bestuur.
