Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacist to join our team at our Pretoria, Lynwood location. You will be responsible for assisting in dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, ensuring compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate patient records. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide excellent pharmaceutical care to our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
  • Monitor patient health and progress to ensure medications are effective and safe
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Manage inventory levels and order pharmaceutical supplies as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns promptly
  • Stay updated on developments and advancements in pharmaceutical research and technology

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from a recognized institution
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) and in good standing
  • Proven experience as a Pharmacist (experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Commitment to providing outstanding patient care
