A forward-thinking group in the services industry is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to head up their client-facing finance division. The successful candidate will oversee accounting, financial management, and back-office operations for a range of entrepreneurial and impact-driven businesses. This role offers the chance to work closely with business leaders, strengthen financial structures, and contribute to sustainable business growth.

Duties:
  • Lead and manage all accounting and financial reporting functions across a portfolio of entities.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Implement and maintain strong financial controls and operational processes.
  • Act as the primary financial contact for clients, offering FD-level support and strategic financial insights.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Accountants to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Contribute to the growth of the finance division and its client base.
  • Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and governance frameworks.
  • Liaise with Auditors, tax practitioners, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • CA(SA) accreditation is essential.
  • Minimum of 5+ years post-articles experience is essential.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical ability, and financial reporting expertise.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (particularly Excel).
