Overall Responsibility:

To support the production plan by ensuring there is adequate raw materials availability by calling off materials with consideration of lead-time from suppliers, managing supplier delivery OTIF with procurement and taking Brewery capacities into account.

Focus Area 1

Operational Raw material plans:

  • Align the call off plan weekly postproduction plan publications,
  • Engage with the production planner and the brewery team in the weekly planning meetings to sign off a pragmatic plan,
  • Communicate any potential risks to stakeholders

Focus Area 2

Procurement of Raw Materials:

  • Raise POs in line with signed off MRP with suppliers and
  • Ensure Ops team receipt raw materials accurately against relevant POs,
  • Ensure Raw material call offs are done timely from suppliers to support the production plan execution,
  • Managing a model stock on some RM with JIT on others whilst creating and maintaining a healthy relationship with suppliers to allow for supply chain demand variability

Focus Area 3

Materials Management:

  • Ensure warehouse has sufficient space available for raw materials through reviewing the next 13 weeks call of plan and adjusting escalating timely as required for plan amendment to support the business,
  • Monitor the age of Raw materials in the warehouse and create visibility to enable the business to reduce potential write offs as well as ensuring new raw materials are procured timely to protect the production plans

Focus Area 4

KPIs:

  • Track Material availability for the following week's Brew and Packaging plans,
  • Measure supplier performance in supporting timely delivery of the correct quantity required of raw materials and escalate deviations accordingly

Requirements of the Role:

Bachelors Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or other relevant qualification

Preferred Skills:

  • Needs to be a strong collaborator/ team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Fast responsiveness is critical, needs to be able to expedite unforeseen risks effectively with speed
